Join over 500 people for the ‘Rock Pound the Bounds’ walking event in Worcestershire, on Sunday 30th April, raising lifesaving funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Choose from a marathon, 18 mile, half marathon, nine mile, six mile or three mile route, through some fabulous terrain including woodland, pasture, riverside and meadow and at this time of year the countryside is at its most beautiful with bluebells and other spring flowers at their best.
Michelle McCracken, Worcestershire fundraising manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity says: “Rock Pound the Bounds is a lovely day out for the whole family, with routes for all abilities, including a three mile treasure trail for young families.
“In 2016, the event raised over £7,000 for the charity, which helped to fund two lifesaving air ambulance missions.”
Registration starts from £6 for adults on the six and nine mile, and half marathon routes, and £8 for the 18 mile and marathon routes. All participants are also encouraged to raise sponsorship money for the charity leading up to the event.
